''Granary House was just the escape we were looking for. Located in the peaceful picturesque and friendly town of East Coker it's a fantastic place to escape the rat race. Having stayed at granary house twice management treat guests more as extended family than guests, a welcome change from many hotel and B&B establishments. The facilities include everything one would expect from a hotel including televisions with over 20 channels, Tea and coffee making facilities, Hair Dryer and FREE wireless internet. The rooms are neat and tidy and extremely comfortable. The breakfast options included cereal, toasts, homemade jams and one of  best English Breakfasts we have had in a long time. We will definitely recommend to anyone wanting a relaxing get away or even just a comfortable place to stay for the night. (although tempted to keep it as one of Somerset's best kept secrets)''

"Thank you Sue and Ken for a lovely stay. It was perfect. We came for 3 days and stayed for 7 it was so good. The room was delightful with everything matching and toning in so tastefully. The beds were spotlessly clean, ( the sheets were changed frequently)and so comfortable we slept like tops. The breakfasts were to die for and what ever you wished for you could have. The choice and quantity were faultless. In fact nothing was too much trouble for this lovely couple. They even suggested very helpful daily intinaries of where to go and what to do which we found most useful. We can't wait to come and visit you again." July 2009

"The accommodation is excellent and Sue the owner looks after you brilliantly..."

"In reading The Lord of the Rings, I never understood why Frodo, Sam, Pippen, and Merry get quite so enthused about Farmer Maggot's mushrooms. Now I understand. English Breakfast this morning included eggs fresh from the hen, bacon and sausage from the farm up the road, and mushrooms picked fresh that morning. It was possibly the best breakfast I've ever had. I want to go back, if only to have the breakfast. (Actually, the B&B itself was very nice and the owner was very friendly. And, while running an old style B&B, she is on e-mail. If you ever want to travel to see a small English town, I'd heartily recommend the Granary House.)"
